Interactive TEMPO, Punjab - Indian police have arrested a dove. Armed guards to keep pigeons in a cage after being arrested, after allegedly running a spy mission from neighboring Pakistan.
White doves were captured by local people in Punjab, India, which borders Pakistan. The bird was then taken (read: aressted) to the police station, a distance of 40 kilometers from the capital city of Amritsar.
When arrested, Homer was wearing a ring on the feet, which included phone numbers and addresses of Pakistan on his body with red ink.
Ramdas Jagjit Singh Chahal, a policeman, said he expected that the pigeons had landed in India from Pakistani soil to carry a message, even though no trace of the records were found.
Officials had directed that no one is allowed to visit the doves. The police assured that the buy back doves have a special mission telik password.
The bird had been medically examined and have been stored in an air-conditioned room under strict police escort. Local police officials have been asked to report three times a day for the situation, reported the Press Trust of India news agency.
