Quoted from Time, the World Health Organization (WHO) revealed that the cancer causes one in every eight deaths worldwide. This figure is higher than the accumulation of deaths from AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
WHO warns that without major changes in treatment, deaths from cancer in the world will rise from about 7.6 million this year to 17 million by 2030.
In the report of the International Union Against Cancer, experts say, about 21 percent of all cancers are caused by infections such as human papillomavirus (HPV), causes cervical cancer, and hepatitis infection causes stomach and liver cancer.
Cancer prevention vaccine is widely available in developed countries, but not so in developing countries. Nearly 80 percent of cervical cancer deaths occur in poor countries.
"Policymakers around the world have the opportunity and obligation to use this vaccine to save human life and educating them on lifestyle choices and control measures that reduce the risk of cancer," said Gary Adams, Executive Director of the International Union Against Cancer.
According to experts, a number of cancer that attacks the lungs, breast and colon can be avoided by changing habits and lifestyles. By stopping smoking, limiting alcohol consumption, avoiding too much sun, and keep your weight through a healthy diet and exercise, is the best way to avoid cancer.
